Sick kids
There is nothing quite like having children throwing up in your house. You start feeling a little queasy, wondering if it is the onset of what they are dealing with, or if it is just not wanting to deal with the cleanup duty. I am there right now, and thank GOD for my husband, who has decided to also stay home today to help me out. Our son has had it over the weekend, and had a relapse on Sunday night. He wasn't looking too hot last night at dinner, but he perked right up and is doing fine. Our first, on the other hand, started to light up last night right around dinner. She BEGGED me to go to church. BEGGED!!!!! She kept telling me her tummy was fine, but then when we came home from telling Daddy that we weren't going to church, she started crying. So I knew. I just knew. And sure enough, right around the time she would have been in choir, sure enough, she's hanging over a bowl.
Then our youngest got sick in the middle of the night.
So how's the weight loss going, Meredith? Well... it is going fine. Been OP all week... ok, not ALL week. My little celebration on Monday night wasn't OP, but that is ok.
